The 'Canada Greener Homes Grant' was launched in 2021 by the Canadian government offering grants of up to $5000 (retroactive from Dec. 1st 2020!) to help homeowners make energy efficient such as Solar Panel with Tesla Powerwall systems to retrofits to their homes.
A complete pre- and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation is required for eligibility which can be reimbursed up to $600.
Up to 700,000 grants of up to $5,000 to help homeowners make energy efficient retrofits to their homes will be issued.
The Canada Greener Homes Loan helps Canadians make their homes more energy-efficient and comfortable. It offers interest-free financing in addition to the Canada Greener Homes Grant to help you complete some of the more major retrofits recommended by your energy advisor.
