The 'Canada Greener Homes Grant' was launched in 2021 by the Canadian government offering grants of up to $5000 (retroactive from Dec. 1st 2020!) to help homeowners make energy efficient such as Solar Panel with Tesla Powerwall systems to retrofits to their homes.
A complete pre- and post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation is required for eligibility which can be reimbursed up to $600.
Up to 700,000 grants of up to $5,000 to help homeowners make energy efficient retrofits to their homes will be issued.
The Canada Greener Homes Loan helps Canadians make their homes more energy-efficient and comfortable. It offers interest-free financing in addition to the Canada Greener Homes Grant to help you complete some of the more major retrofits recommended by your energy advisor.

Our proficiency in Grid-Tied solar projects spans across Residential, Commercial, and utility-scale sectors. In the Residential domain, our capabilities encompass a diverse range of areas, from new constructions and net-zero (passive homes) to retrofit installations for existing homes. These retrofit initiatives not only enhance energy efficiency but also adhere to the criteria set by the Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan program.
Shifting our focus to the Commercial landscape, we provide customized solutions that cater to a wide spectrum of business types. Our expertise extends to farms, factories, warehouses, storage facilities, religious establishments, oil fields, dams, and beyond.
Notably, Commercial enterprises stand to gain significant advantages, including access to a 30% Investment Tax Credit (ITC) as part of the new Federal Government rebate initiative. Furthermore, they are eligible for Capital Cost Allowance Tax write-offs, effectively mitigating equipment costs.
Both Residential and Commercial systems are eligible for BCHydro's net-metering program, ensuring compensation at a rate of 10 cents for every kWh of exported solar energy.
